Another beautiful day on Hatteras Island with fishing to match. Good catches of bluefish were reported from ramp 38 to the inlet. Sea mullet were also caught at ramp 38 and 44. The point had Spanish mackerel and bluefish along with jacks on metal. We just got a fresh shipment of beautiful finger mullet. Come in and stock up. My friend and landlord Michael Harrell now has the 10 foot Saltiga Ballistic Spanish slayer so I am confident DeeDee’s fish catching days are over. Papa Joe is loading his truck getting ready to leave Yankee land for Buxton, NC. Upon his arrival the fish catching, story telling and general getting it on will begin.
