It was a beautiful day on Hatteras Island. We are expecting a bit of a blow tomorrow. Winds up to 35 mph. Variety of species caught up and down the beaches today. They were speckled and gray trout up around the Tri-villages. Sea mullet were everywhere, again the bite has been better on the northern beaches. Puppy drum were caught off ramp 38. Ramp 43 had some keeper puppy drum too. Trout bite is slowing down on the soundside, but fish were caught in the surf around ramp 55. Flounder are being caught and released up and down the island. About 10 big Drum on the point around sunset.
