A great day on the beach with big sharks, bluefish, big rays, and some big drums being caught at the point area. Bluefish were hitting lures and bait. Big drums came into casting range this afternoon on the south side of the point with some being caught on bait and lures. Sharks and rays were mostly being caught on bait. Reports of puppies and sheepshead being caught by the jetties today. This evening reports of smaller drums were being caught at the point. In Avon today, a 28 inch stripper was caught on the ocean side.
