Well the good news for the day, is that NPS has open a walking path to the west side of the point area. The tip is still closed due to some birds nesting out there in the flood zone. Spanish and bluefish were thick out there hitting lures on every cast. Sea mullet were reported at ramp 38 today. Pompano were caught at ramp 49 and up north of Avon. A puppy drum was reported behind the motels area this morning.
