With the clear water, we had Spanish, bluefish, and Jack Crevalle were caught on lures on the south side of the point. Also the good news, NPS has open a path to drive to the south side of the point so you don’t have to walk to the south side. The bad news, is that the sand very soft and a lot of people are not letting enough air out of their tires and are digging to the bottom until their frames hit the ground. So be careful . Sea mullets and pompano were reported being caught up in Avon and on the south beach area.
