If you were lucky enough to be on the point about 5 pm today, you saw the most spectacular show of spinner sharks jumping on bait.  Multiple sharks were coming out of the water for at least 30 minutes.  What a show it was.  Fish catching was just as good.  It started this morning with Spanish being caught at ramp 43.  Ramp 43 also reported catches of sea mullet and pompano.  The point had slot drum early in the day with a great bite of blue fish on metal and bait as the sun was setting.   Black drum, sea mullet and pompano were reported at ramp 48 while Avon reported sea mullet, black drum and pompano.  James caught a 3.7 pound sea mullet in his net and demanded to be listed on the fishing report.  Yours truly smoked the blues on a green Daiwa Saltiga Ballistic Spanish slayer with our new “Rose Gold” shore lure.  Five in a row ain’t no joke.

Shop News!!!!!!!!  Our bait guys are working overtime and you guys are the winners.  We received fresh mullet both fingers and big mullet and bunker.  GOOD LOOKING BAIT…..  For those fishing the Red Drum Tournament we can fix you up to catch that winning drum.  We also received a new shipment of sunglasses for those that want to be styling and profiling.  Dan “the man” Willard was on the beach today testing the new Conflict Long Cast reel.  Combined with a saltiga ballistic 35 surf rod he was throwing that thing out of sight.  Surprise, surprise, Steve and Norma Brittain from downtown Cooksville just walked in the shop.  Always good to see people from home.

Signing off from Buxton North Carolina we are DeeDee “she’s riding, I mean pushing the broom tonight” Harrell, Casey “I didn’t go fishing today cause I had to run errands (what a wus)” Pintar and Keith “ain’t no cold front tonight” Whitener
