The drum bite has started. A good bite of red whoppers started this evening at the point led by our own Dan Willard who caught a nice fat one. Along with the big drum were yearlings and slot drum. Blue fish also made their showing today with a hot bite this morning with fish up to 5 pounds. Puppy and slot drum were also caught at the motels this morning. Chris Broome out fished his twin brother today catching three “huge” drum to Gabe’s barely legal skinny fish. Speckled trout were caught in the sound and inlet with stripers being caught in the hatteras boat basin.
The hottest news from the shop is a huge shipment of sweatshirts and long sleeve T-shirts in your favorite colors. For the Bryan Lester size fishermen we have plenty of 3XXX zip up, pull over overs and long sleeve T’s. We also have fresh, fresh bait for those fishing tomorrow along with all the tackle you need. To clarify this mornings news, Dan has not switched to the Gamecocks, he actually has a roll tide sticker on his truck….
