What a beautiful day on Hatteras Island with fish catching to boot. Blue Fish, Blue Fish, Blue FIsh were again the most prolific species with good numbers caught on ramps 48 and 49 with fish also caught on the point and north beaches. A super bite of puppy and over slot drum was reported in the sound below Hatteras. Our own Sound Hound Casey reports they were thick and hungry. At ramp 55 at least one big drum was reported along with several slot fish. A 46″ drum and slot fish were reported off the point along with bluefish on metal, sea mullet and black drum. On the north beaches were pompano, grey trout, sea mullet and spot.
