Roll Tide, Oops different report.  Fish were caught up and down the beach today kicked off this morning by John Pickard’s three drum on three casts including one over 40 inches at the point.  Sea Mullet up to 2 lbs were reported in and around Avon.  Blue Fish were caught on the south beach.  This evening, puppy and slot drum were caught on the south side of the point along with a number of GREY drum (SHARKS) on the tip.  Off shore the fishing has been slow due to the weather but blackfin tuna, wahoo and even a sailfish were reported from the Hatteras fleet.  Inshore the flounder have started their movement with a few being caught at the inlet.  Puppy  drum and trout are also being caught at the usual places.
