Steve from Richmond, VA weighed in 5 pound 3 ounce Speckled Trout this evening. It was caught here sound side in Buxton.
There have been several really nice trout caught here lately all in the sound and the other day when i was walking around in the sound i noticed a huge amount of baby shrimp swimming and jumping around so i think there is a shrimp hatch going on right now and this means to me throw a shrimp bait . If you have the time to get down here folks come on down the fishing is great. Mike.
