The big drum bite was slow at the point today. The boats went out and caught them just a little off the shore in the hook. I guess those fish where just a bit too far out from the beach. A few puppy drum were caught at the point this evening. Ramp 55 had reports of puppy drum. Winds are shifting back to  southwest, so maybe tomorrow will produce the big guys again out there.
