Well there was a little Drum bite at the Point this morning, which tapered off around the time Dan and I showed up. Just a theory, but that is probably what shut it down. There were about 6 citations caught with yearlings and pups mixed in. Then the sharks showed up. Our own Denise caught a 13.5 lbs, 27 inch black drum. Speckled trout are still around the jetties and ramp 43 to the point. Sea mullet were caught off Ramps 43, 44, and the point. Blowtoads are still around in decent number but most are small. Bluefish are being reported up and down the beaches. We have all your Speckled Trout needs covered I just put out Gulp, new Z-man plastics, and we have plenty of trout rods set up ready to go.
