Blues caught up and down the beaches today. We did one drum citation that was caught at the point. Have a great night……………..RDT!!!!

An early morning bite of drum at the Point. We didn’t hear much throughout the day, but then another drum bite at the Point. Also, plenty of Blues to be had. We weighed in a 6 pound 5 ounce Speckled Trout caught in the late evening.

We had word of some Pompano, slot drum and a 14″ black Drum caught at Ramp 43 today. Last night and this morning yearling Drum and even a 45″ last night. Tonight there have been plenty of slot size Drum out at the Point. Looks like some rain and high winds tomorrow. Stay safe.

There was a Drum bite this morning at the Point. We received fresh finger and cobb mullet this afternoon!

Drum bite at the Point this morning. Some Blues biting tonight at the Point too.

Puppy and yearling drum, and blues at the Point. Some small Pompano were caught today too.

Yearlings were being caught in Rodanthe. Blues at the Point. Blues and puppy drum down at 55. Diego, from VA, caught his first 30″ drum at the Point today! Way to go Diego!

We’ve had a slow day of reports after the higher winds and surf last night and into this morning. We heard of a couple Pompano caught at the Point. But also that the north and south side of the Point was very grassy. Tomorrow looks to be sunny with temps in the low 70’s and…

We’re still catching Blues, slot and big Drum at the Hatteras Inlet. The Spanish Mackerel are back again now that the water has cleared up.

Joe Handley from E. Hampton, NJ came in with a 9 pound 3 ounce Blue caught in Hatteras using a super strike popper. Ramps 32 & 38 had Drum. The Point had Drum and Blues. And we had multiple reports of Blues at Ramp 55.
