Had a report of 2 Red Drum that were 36″ and 38″, right at 1:30 PM.  There have been upper-slot sized Puppy drum caught on the Point and at the site of old Frisco Pier.  Good Luck! From, Bryan and Kara

As expected the Drum bite is on again today.  Great weather and great fishing… Yeah!  Upper Slot Drum are already being reported from the south side of the Point to Hatteras Inlet on Grubs and Shrimp.  Sharks and Skates have been caught on the North Side of the Point.  Come on out and FISH!!!!!

There were red drum caught at ramp 49 , just north of the old pier site. Drum at 55 again, in the slot. Then, at about 2, the slot drum showed up in good measure. They were being caught on shrimp, mullet. We had seen about a 29 inch Drum caught on a trout rod,…

Another great day of Drum fishing here on the Outer Banks today. The bite moved to the North Side of the Point this afternoon. Good reports of Drum to Upper Slot with a few larger fish caught. Black Drum were occasionally mixed in and a fun day was had for those venturing out.
