Thank goodness the rain held off today. A 2 lb. 9 oz. citation pompano was caught off Ramp 44. A large red drum was lost in the wash off Ramp 44. Blue fish and speckled trout were caught in the Sound today. How does a seahorse quickly get from one place to another? He scallops! …
After a rainy morning, anglers had some time to get in some fishing. I weighed in a 1 lb. 13 oz. sea mullet. The young man indicated that he caught several other sea mullet today. Also, sea mullet were caught at the north side off Ramp 44. I weighed in a 3 lb. 9 oz….
Blue fish were caught off Ramp 43 and north side of the Point. Also, north of the Point, puppy drum and sea mullet were caught. Some nice size pompano were caught off Ramp 48. What do you call a fish with two knees? A tunee fish. Denise
Sea mullet were caught up and down the beach. Speckled trout were caught in the Sound. I just weighed in a 4 pd. 7 oz. speckled trout. What did the magician say to the angler? Pick a cod, any cod! Denise
Today, we weighed in a 12 lb. 9 oz. blue fish. There was a good speckled trout bite in the Sound. A few large red drum were caught this morning at the Point before it was closed. What do you call a fish that knows addition? An Octoplus!
The sun came out beautifully today! At the point, the drum are back in action, some mullet and sharks were caught as well. Sound side we heard of puppy drum and speckled trout! Hoping for another beautiful day tomorrow with lots of wonderful fish stories to be told!
I would love to see the sun. Hopefully tomorrow it will start clearing off in the afternoon. Fishing was a little slow today. I heard of one Puppy Drum and 2 Blue fish and a few Sharks. I haven’t heard from anyone this evening from the Point. Yesterday there was 6 citation drum between 2-4…
