It was a beautiful day out here on Hatteras Island. Sea mullet were caught up and down the beaches with some nice size to them, although not the best of numbers. The better action was on the north beaches. There was a little bluefish bite on cut bait around the Point this morning. A few blowtoads on the south beaches. Small flounder were caught around the Buxton Motels. A couple slot puppy drum in Frisco and Hatteras. Speckled trout are still biting in the sound from Avon to Hatteras. Some sharks were also pulled in at the Point tonight.
