It was a pretty day out here on the Island. Puppy drum were caught at Ramp 43. Bluefish were caught at Ramp 43 and the Point on cut bait. Ramp 55 had a couple puppy drum as well. The Point had Drum but they were just out of casting distance. One kayaker went out and hit a few big drum, he also reported there were some Spanish mackerel running around with the school of drum. Spanish season is just right around the corner and that’s a great sign. C’mon warm water and warm weather! The Point had plenty of sharks still. Sea mullet and blowtoads are still being caught. Sea mullet and blowtoads were caught at the Point, Ramp 43, and Ramp 48.
