The bite has been great today! Drum and Spanish Mackerel at the point and pompano down at 55! Phil Walters of Oxford, NC brought in a beautiful 3 pound 12 ounce Pompano today!

It was a slow day of fishing here in Buxton. A few red fish reported from the point. Sea mullet up on ramp 38. Offshore boats caught some blue marlin and mahi today. Have a great night……………….RDT!!!!!!!

Plenty of citation Drum have been caught at the point the last several days. Sea mullet at ramp 38 and 48. Had two citation specks from the sound on bait tonight. Should be great fishing the next few days. Have a great night……………………RDT!!!!!!

We just got fresh bunker in at 10:45, come and get it! There was a nice drum bite this morning with multiple citation fish out of it and plenty of puppies!

Sunday 5/15/22

Thomas from VA came in for a citation…28 pound, 8 ounce, 41 inch Cobia he caught on cut bait from the beach in Avon.

Saturday 5/14/22

Lots of puppy drum and yearling drum at the Point, ramp 48 and ramp 55. Sea Mullet at ramp 43. Speckled Trout and puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound. Lots of natural colors such as Electric Chicken. Some assorted purples too and Z-man shrimp.

Friday 5-6-22

Great day of fishing here in Buxton. Morning started off with puppies caught behind the motels. Jetties had a really nice sheepshead and some puppy drum.
