The blue fish were thick out on the beaches today – nice size blue fish caught behind the motels, off Ramp 43 and off Ramp 44. Also, a 2 pound 11 ounce pompano was caught behind the motels. Several flounder were caught, one was 18 inches, and he didn’t keep it. Puppy drum were caught in the surf and Sound. The speckled trout bite is still great in the Sound, and are showing up in the surf. For those of you who like catching shark, you won’t be disappointed if you shark fish at the Point – lots of spinners and black tips.
